Women’s Ministry
Our desire is to help women to CONNECT and GROW with God and each other as the navigate their personal walk with Jesus. We want to see women discover and grow in who they are created to be, as well as equip them to SERVE in their unique areas of gifting both within the Church and in their own communities.
We offer a variety of opportunities for women of all ages to connect and grow with God and each other through life groups, retreats, “talks,” Bible studies, affinity groups, Conferences, online interaction, and more. We believe we learn best as women, when we learn to hear from God ourselves, but we grow best as women when we can also share in authentic life together.

Ladies TableTalk
TABLEtalk is a monthly gathering for the ladies of our church. These evenings take place in our café and feature live music, a light meal, and plenty of time for connection and conversation. Together, we’ll hear an encouraging message from one of the amazing women in our church family and enjoy meaningful, life-giving discussions around the tables.
All ladies are welcome—we’d love for you to join us! Visit our events page for details on the next TABLEtalk.

Cultivate: Pursuing Intentional Friendship
Cultivate is designed to bring women together across generations, creating space to share life, encourage one another, and build meaningful relationships.
Whether you’re seeking a new friendship, someone to walk alongside you through life’s ups and downs, an accountability partner, or a woman who has “been there and done that,” Cultivate offers an opportunity to connect in a purposeful way.
Through mentorship and intentional friendship, women can grow in faith and community—learning from one another’s experiences and walking together through the journey of life. More details will be shared soon on how to get involved.

Women’s Ministry Director
Geri Chester
Geri was born in Yorkshire, England and lived there till she was 10. She’s the oldest of two and met Jesus as a 5 ½ year-old after hearing a lesson on Noah in her Sunday School class. After graduating from Towson State University with a degree in advertising, she went on to earn her master’s in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. After graduating, by invitation of a friend, she moved to Washington state. There she served as the education and youth pastor for a local church for 7 years. It was also there that she met and married her husband Mark as he was serving at the Foursquare church in town.
They now have three young children and feel incredibly blessed and humbled to be able to grow and serve alongside so many amazing people here in Gettysburg since the fall of 2006. She craves authenticity, for herself and others, loves the beach, being outside, exercising, textiles of every kind, words, teaching, and being around light-hearted people. She loves to travel and discover new things. Spontaneity is her friend and realized moments are her delight. The Bible is her favorite book and Jesus her closest companion. She is learning how to “be” content in the present, enjoying her family and all those God brings into her life along the way.
When she has time, she writes a blog titled in-the-meanwhile.com.
